VLCD stands for Very Low Calorie Diet and if you are going to do real hCG, you must follow this diet plan. If you try to use any other diet, the hCG will have no effect. (I'm not so sure it has any effect after being on this diet but regardless), any fat in your diet, any deviation from the quantity or kind of food and the hCG never gets activated.
